MARD\u0130VEN<\/strong> projesi, “AT\u00d6LYE \u0130LE<\/strong>” yi olu\u015fturan \u00fc\u00e7 foto\u011fraf tutkununun katk\u0131 koyup b\u00fct\u00fcnle\u015ftirdi\u011fi bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“MARD\u0130VEN<\/strong>, ortak Mardin gezimizde kent ve y\u00f6resinin etkileyici atmosferinin bize verdi\u011fi ilham sonucu hayata ge\u00e7en bu \u00e7ok katmanl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma bir anlamda \u015fehrin \u00e7ok k\u00fclt\u00fcrl\u00fc zenginli\u011finin metaforik bir temsilidir. Kentin dokusunun ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz unsuru merdivenler ise projemizin ad\u0131n\u0131n do\u011fu\u015f noktas\u0131 olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gezi sonras\u0131nda, ya\u015famakta oldu\u011fumuz(Karaburun, B\u00fckre\u015f, \u0130zmir olmak \u00fczere) \u00fc\u00e7 ayr\u0131 yerden, s\u0131rayla, \u00fc\u00e7 ayr\u0131 g\u00f6z \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc Mardin g\u00f6rsellerini yakla\u015f\u0131k bir y\u0131l boyunca birbirimize bir sistem dahilince ilettik; kullan\u0131lan dijital katmanlarla foto\u011fraflar\u0131m\u0131z son \u015fekillerini ald\u0131lar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mardin’in zengin k\u00fclt\u00fcrel yap\u0131s\u0131 bu \u00e7oklu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131z\u0131n ilk ve ba\u015fl\u0131ca motivasyonuydu. Teknik olarak katmanlarla \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rken g\u00f6rsellerimiz Mardin’in \u00e7ok katmanl\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrel yap\u0131s\u0131na paralel olarak geli\u015fti. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalarda toprak renkleri kentin mimari yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 ve y\u0131llanm\u0131\u015f ge\u00e7mi\u015fini yans\u0131t\u0131rken, canl\u0131 renkler bug\u00fcn\u00fcn hareket dolu ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 ifadesi oldu; ortak haf\u0131zam\u0131zda yer alan imgeler, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m\u0131zda soyutlanarak kendi g\u00f6rsel esteti\u011fini yaratt\u0131lar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayr\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerin bulu\u015fmas\u0131 ve uyumunun simgesi olmu\u015f Mardin kentine dair bu proje, \u00fc\u00e7 farkl\u0131 foto\u011fraf dilinin son bir g\u00f6rselde uyumla b\u00fct\u00fcnle\u015fmesi dolay\u0131s\u0131yla, ‘farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n bir aradal\u0131\u011f\u0131’ kavram\u0131na bir g\u00fczelleme olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renklerin zenginli\u011fi ve katmanlar\u0131n derinli\u011fi, bu co\u011frafyan\u0131n \u015farab\u0131n\u0131n damakta kalan nefis lezzetini yans\u0131t\u0131yor olsa gerek!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARD\u0130VEN <\/strong>project is the work of three ambitions photographers who are members of the collective “At\u00f6lye \u0130LE<\/strong>“, where following the contribution of each one on the same image, a single integrated image was produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“MARD\u0130VEN<\/strong>, a multi-layered work which came to being as a result of the inspirations we felt in the fantastic atmosphere of the city and its environs during our visit to Mardin together; it is, in a way, a metaphoric repsentation of the city’s richness and multi-layered culture. The word merdiven(meaning stairs in Turkish), as the unavoidable elements of the city’s texture, is the source for the birth of project’s title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the trip, from our residences apart from each other (to name them: Karaburun,Bucharest, \u0130zmir), we systematically shared for a period of approximately a year the Mardin images created with three different eyes using digital layers for the layers for the purpose of producing single final images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rich cultural structure of Mardin was the instant and main motivation that led us to work on this multi-layered project. As we worked together technically with layers, the images developed in richness parallel to the multi-layered cultural structure of Mardin. In the images; as earth colors represented the city’s architectural structure and its ages past, vivid colors expressed today’s life full movement; the common impressions in our minds turned abstract, creating an authentic visual aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of three photographic languages integrated in a final image with harmony, this project about Mardin-the melting pot of cultures and symbol of harmony, can be considered as praise to ‘the coexistence of differences’ concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The richness of colors and the depth of layers must be reflecting the delicious taste this region’s wine leaves on the palate!”<\/p>\n\n
